I am a British artist who works from my garden studio in the beautiful surroundings of the Peak District, England. I studied surface pattern design at Art College for 4 years before becoming a designer at a large well- known greeting card company. After 8 years of working in the studio, I decided to start my own design studio. 20 years of freelance and counting, my work has been published for companies such as Henry Glass, Tri-Coastal, Paramount, Marian Heath, Ravensburger and many more.
When I’m not in the studio, my three teenage boys and husband keep me busy, but I do like to find a little time to indulge in my passion for all things edible, including making sourdough bread, jams, cakes and gins, especially at Christmas. To wind down, I enjoy walking and yoga.
My work has been published in a variety of products, from cards to doormats, but my favourite work is designing fabrics, especially getting stuck into big projects and whole collections (which are needed to design patchwork fabrics).
